The Greensboro terminal is located at 415 Banner Avenue in Greensboro, North Carolina. The facility has 20 dock doors for tractor-trailers. The facility has an open air cross-dock, and 150 trailer slots surrounding the building.
The terminal has direct access to major highways including, I-85, Interstate 40, US 29, and US 70. Dedicated linehaul dispatchers are working around the clock to ensure safe and productive working conditions, delivery schedules and DOT hours of service.
This facility has National Retail System, Inc.’s mechanic division, Precision Werks, in-house. The Precision Werks team of mechanics are solely dedicated to ensuring our assets are running safe on the road.
Greensboro is also the recruitment hub for all East Coast driver recruitment and retention. Each driver must go through a multi-point inspection before getting behind the wheel. The recruitment team works in conjunction with the safety department to review each driver’s job history and background. Safety is our number one concern, and the reason behind the driver training programs being piloted in various terminals.
Promoting safety within our current fleet is also a priority – every month gift cards are issued with a signed letter from the company’s president to any driver nationwide that passes their Level 1 Inspection.
This facility is also carefully under constant surveillance with a dedicated security team that works around the clock 365 days a year. Custom security solutions are in place for various customers, and all equipment has GPS tractor and trailer tracking installed for on-the-road precaution.
